Constant Voltage Transformers (CVT)

CVT operates at a relatively constant frequency and provides substantially constant output voltage in spite of large changes in the input voltage. CVT consists of a high reactant Transformer that has an air gap in a magnetic shunt and provides a constant voltage output. This is achieved by the resonant action of the secondary winding of the Transformer and the Capacitor.
